You can witness a rocket launch at the legendary Baikonur Cosmodrome. This is where Gagarin, Leonov, Sputnik-1 and Buran took off into space. Today the spaceport launches spacecraft headed for the International Space Station and deploys them in the Earth's orbit.

Day 1
You will see a huge rocket taken from the hangar and installed at 31 SK Soyuz launch pad. You will visit the operations and checkout facility where the rocket was assembled and the transport and installation unit for the Energia-Buran system where the legendary spacecraft was installed onto one of the most powerful launch vehicles in the history of the mankind. After that you will enjoy a tour of the spaceport museum complex holding artefacts and relics from the dawn of space exploration.
Day 2
You will take a sightseeing walking tour around Baikonur city and along Cosmonaut Alley and visit the International Space School named after Academician V.N.Chelomey where you can launch a rocket model assisted by the school principal.
Day 3
Before the rocket launch, you will visit the launchingcomplexfor Proton-M carrier rocket, learn about its design and the procedure of rocket preparation for launch. You will also get to see unique facilities: the versatile "Stand-Start" complex for the Energia-Buran space system and the command post of the Energia carrier rocket.
Day 4
This is the day of launch. You will be taken to the observation site to see modified Soyuz carrier rockets take off for space and will get to know what distinguishes these vehicles from all others.

* Launch dates are approved at the end of each month for the subsequent three months. The tour program may be adjusted accordingly. The program may also be amended depending on permits issued by Roscosmos State Corporation.
During the period between launches you can take a trip to the Vostochny Cosmodrome.
Vostochny Cosmodrome
The Vostochny Cosmodrome is a Russian spaceport of the 21stcentury. The spaceport is situated in Amur Region near the airport of the same name and Tsiolkovsky Town. You can take a one-day trip to the spaceport.

Launch pads are a key element of the spaceport: prelaunch processing and launches take place here.

Rocket engineers will explain how the rocket is assembled and what is required to launch a rocket from the launch pad.

The museum exhibits personal belongings, pieces of equipment used by astronauts, space food, and other artefacts collected from three Soviet spaceports: Baikonur, Plesetsk and Kapustin Yar.
